Yes, Tony was drunk and acting like a fool, but this was reckless and Rhodey should’ve known better. He could’ve killed someone. After he’s patched up (and following a fight in the astral realm) Strange heads back to the closet where the portal remains open. What if someone found it? What if they filmed a video and put it on You.

Lang shrugs it off like it’s no big deal when it is in fact a very big deal that lands him in the Raft.

The parachute hidden in Peter’s suit was clearly placed there by Tony in response to the events of Captain America: Civil War, which saw Rhodey paralyzed following a similar fall. The problem here is Tony should have installed a parachute as far back as Iron Man (when his suit froze and he had to deploy his flaps to break the ice) and especially after The Avengers (when he once again plummeted to the Earth and had to be caught by Hulk).
